Bôle NE (Switzerland), 8 March 2021. At the cutting edge of know-how in honing and high-precision honing tools, Mu-Tools has just opened a branch in Thyez, in the French region of Haute-Savoie. Mu-Tools France’s mission is to ensure the management of the honing tools to be replated and the stock of specific new honing tools, to organise transport and customs clearance formalities as well as to guarantee a local technical service for French customers.

Its location on the economic development site of Les Lacs in Thyez, which provides infrastructure services adapted to start-ups as well as to small and medium-sized companies wishing to develop their activities on French territory, enables Mu-Tools to be at the heart of the major economic region for the turning industry in France, close to its customer base. The commercial and technical partnership set up with Bernard Bouillé, from the BBTECH company, allows Mu-Tools France to provide a complete service, both in terms of technical support and storage of made-to-measure honing tools as well as the management of the replating activities.

With its new branch in France, Mu-Tools aims to become the leader in high-precision honing throughout France, with a local service for all its customers.

Honing is a niche market that adds a great added value to machined parts. As there is no vocational school or specific training for honing, Mu-Tools, with more than 70 years of experience in the manufacturing of honing tools, aims to support its customers even more closely in the preparation of parts and to support them in their honing projects in order to achieve the best results.
